On a Rafting-Easy tour you will learn how to use small rafts and we will float down easy white water rivers. You learn how to steer without stress and how to run simple rapids. The choice for whitewater newbies and families.

What to expect from Easy Rafting?

  • Duration between 3 and 5 hours
  • The technical and physical requirements are low, so that everyone who does sports from time to time can participate.
  • We start on simple sections of the river that are slowly becoming more difficult.
  • Maximum white water level 2 * (the white water scale goes from 0 for calm water to 6 for non-navigable) *
  • Minimum number of participants: 3
  • A guide / participant ratio of maximum 1: 8

Requirements

  • You are at least 12 years old * (under 18 accompanied or with the consent of the legal guardian) *
  • You can swim
  • You have some basic endurance and sportiness
  • Previous knowledge of paddling is not necessary!

Location

  • Garmisch Partenkirchen (Isar - easy river with small challanges in wonderful nature)
  • Sonthofen (Iller - from Sonthofen, the easiest of the rivers)

What is included?

  • A professional guide
  • Wetsuits, neoprene socks, helmets, boats, paddles, life jackets
  • Preparation of the tour
  • Pictures of your tour
  • Steering and safety training in easy white water sections
  • Latest safety equipment and the highest safety standards

What do you have to bring?

  • Sports shoes that can get wet (no sandals!)
  • Towel and dry laundry for afterwards
  • Dry shoes for afterwards
  • If you don't want to wear the neoprene directly on your skin, you can wear a shirt made of polyester or wool under the neoprene. Cotton is unsuitable, it cools you down when it gets wet.
  • Personal medication if necessary
  • If you wear glasses, it is best to use soft contact lenses!

Canyoning for beginners

The Canyoning Easy-Tour is the right tour for you if you want to try out Canyoning. In this way you can get your first canyoning experience without any stress. If you are passably sportive and not afraid of height you can also start directly with a Sportive tour!

Characteristics of an easy Tour

  • Duration of the whole Tour is about 3 - 4 hours.
  • The tour is technically easy and possible for everybody who does some kind of sport from time to time.
  • Many abseils and jumps can be avoided.
  • The Abseils are not that high as on a Pro Tour, high abseils can be avoided.
  • Water with easy current and very short swimming distances.
  • Jumps and Slides are easy, usually there are bigger jumps and slides that can be avoided
  • A Guide/ Participant rate of maximum 1:8
  • Minimum number of Participants: 2

Requierements

  • You have to be at least 12 years old (Kids under 18 years can go only with their parents or a signed permission of their parents)
  • You know how to swim
  • You have no panic of heights, a bit afraid is alright ;)
  • A little bit of endurance and sportiness
  • You DO NOT NEED any knowledge about canyoning!

Where can I do an easy Tour?

  • In the Lech Valley (e.g. Planseeablauf)
  • Close to Dornbirn (e.g. Upper Kobelache)
  • Other places are also possible, just ask me if there is possibility in the area you want to go

What is included?

  • A professional Guide, from 8 Participants upwards a second professional Guide.
  • Canyoning Wetsuite, Neoprene socks, Helmet, Harness with Safetyequipment, Ropes, Backpacks (if needed)
  • Preparation and follow up work (Pictures)
  • Pictures of your Tour
  • Modern safety Equipment and highest safety standards

What to bring

  • Mountain or Sportshoes that can get wet (they will get wet!, No Sandals!)
  • Towel and dry clothes to change after the tour.
  • Dry shoes for afterwards.
  • if you want to wear sth. under your Wetsuite it should be wool or functional clothing, no cotton! Cotton makes you feel colder.
  • Personal stuff like medicaments
  • If you wear glasses best would be to bring contact lenses!
