Lech

The Lech between Stockach and Elmen is the perfect river to learn how to handle the rafts on a medium difficult river. It starts quite easy and gets more difficult on its way.

Isar

The Isar between Scharnitz and Krün is an excellent river to learn how to deal with the raft. The surroundings are breathtaking and the water usually crystal clear. The river is not very wild and suitable for beginners. Many curves, however, require careful paddling. On the quieter sections there is time for capsizing maneuvers and water fights.

  • Slight rapids and lots of curves mixed with calm sections.
  • Perfect for beginners

Imster Schlucht (inn)

The Imster Gorge is the most difficult of the rivers offered here, it is really wild here, sections can be so dangerous that every raft needs an experienced guide on board, so you can get through the current safely.

  • Duration: 2 hours on the river (+2 hours preparation and shuttles)
  • Location: In the Inn Valley near Imst
  • Heavy rapids with big waves alternate with calm sections
  • For paddling experienced and adrenaline junkie beginners

Iller

The Iller is a scenic river in the Allgäu. The river is calm and has little action, aside from water battles and Capsizingmaneuvers. A way to get in touch with paddling on wild rivers for the first time.

  • Location: near Sonthofen
  • Very easy with constant calm flow, good for practice
  • For families and cautious beginners
